This is a wonderful museum and a credit to the fishermen of Hastings. It provides so many wonderful exibits of great local interest. Any visitor to the town would find it facinating. May it grow and develop over the years to come and continue to show the Heritage of the people of Hastings, a place I have come to love and see as my home since moving from Yorkshire. :)

Ah, fond memories of walking among the luggers drawn up at the head of the beach and the detritus of fishing gear around the winch huts. I can still smell the tarry sheds mingled with ozone and old fish. It made me what I am today, a fishing boat junkie. I hope the EU and the town council never manage to destroy the most vibrant part of Hastings.

I was interested to see Campbell's comments, as I am Charlie Haste's daughter. My daughter is going to be christened at the Fisherman's Church tomorrow and I'd love to send some photos through to Campbell if he would pass on his email address. Thank you Jo
