The diary Anne kept is full of local colour – tradesmen\, holiday habits\, walks etc. If you are wondering who she is\, the TV series Gentleman Jack was based on her life. She visited Hastings for five months from 1831 to 1832.  \nRefreshments available.  \nFree event but donations are gratefully received.

The Stade is a richly diverse area where art\, fishing\, famous writers\, good food\, fascinating geological formations and an award-winning miniature railway all sit side by side!
